Adult Children of Alienation

We want to hear from you.

Are you an adult who experienced parental alienation as a child?

We're working on expanding awareness and understanding of alienating behaviors to help prevent these harmful practices from affecting other children. Your insights can make a difference.

We'd love to hear your story:

1.  As a Minor: What alienating behaviors did your parents expose you to? Examples might include: One parent speaking negatively about the other. Blocking communication with the other parent. Creating feelings of guilt or fear about spending time with the other parent. Telling you the other parent didn't love you.

2.  After Turning 18: How did these experiences affect your relationships, mental health, or overall well-being as an adult? Relationships with your parents?

How to Share: Please email your experiences to tamara@SchoolOfCustody. Be sure to include Adult Child in the subject line. Let us know if you're interested in sharing your story in an interview. If you'd like to remain anonymous, include that. Please include your wishes on using information with a name change. We would appreciate your phone number if you are willing to discuss this. By gathering and sharing these insights, we aim to educate parents about the long-term consequences of alienating behaviors and empower them to foster healthier relationships with their children.
